Synopsis-

TL;DR (may contain spoilers): Macbeth hears a prophecy that he is going to be king; he and Lady Macbeth kill anyone who stands in their way.

Macbeth Summary

Three witches tell the Scottish general Macbeth that he will be King of Scotland. Encouraged by his wife, they kill the king, their friends and anyone who threatens their dream of power. The ghosts of their sins and civil war eventually seek to tear the nation (and the Macbeths') to pieces.

Students will learn to tackle Shakespearean text and create a spooky spectacle, perfect for the Halloween season!

Open to Grades 7th-12th

Synopsis-

Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the mic to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st-century girl power! This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over.

**The Teen Edition features a singer/dancer Ensemble as well as the opportunity to Double Cast Queens!

Senior Company Conservatory

**NEW this Fall! Conservatory will be separated into 3 units. You can register for all 3 (labeled "trio") for a discounted rate or register for just 1 or 2 units!

WEDNESDAYS: 4:15-5:30pm

This program offers the opportunity to young actors to grow and build confidence as performers under the instruction of professionally trained theatre educators. It is designed for passionate young theatre artists looking to further their theatrical ability in a playful, engaging environment. Senior Company will provide students with numerous opportunities to hone their creativity and acting abilities. In this program, students will learn theatrical techniques through play in an ensemble environment. Unlike any program in surrounding areas.

What it Includes:

  • Company Style Sessions:  weekly cohort sessions with trained theatre professionals working with students to develop comprehensive theatre skills.

  • Technique Training

  • Pre-Professional Development and Support

  • Opportunity to develop a repertoire of songs, dance, and acting techniques, monologues, and scenes

JUNIOR THEATRE FESTIVAL

The Junior theatre Festival (JTF) is the world’s biggest and best celebration of young people performing musical theatre! JTF brings together student musical theatre troupes from all over the world for a weekend of musical theatre mayhem and madness. Each troupe performs fifteen minutes from a Broadway Junior®️ show for adjudication by a panel of musical theatre experts. The weekend also features workshops for students and parents, a New Works Showcase featuring new musical adaptations soon to be released and concludes with a grand finale concert headlined by Broadway’s best! JTF gives everyone who attends the opportunity to experience the transformative power of musical theatre through watching performances, attending workshops and making connections with other musical theatre groups from around the world.

Into the Woods

directed by Annie Dwyer

Spring Musical

Synopsis-

James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece... and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.

The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
